This may not make a difference at all but when i took the pills- i would wake up, use the bathroom , go on the scale, document my weight on the calendar and then take my pills so when i MEAN AS SOON AS I WAKE UP I MEAN AS SOON AS I WOKE UP. no matter what time i woke up midnight, morning, afternoon, i took them as soon as i woke up and then i brushed my teeth i know thats crazy and may be a little disgusting to some but thats what i did. I was that serious about taking it in the morning and i was very consistent with this. Not perfect just sharing my experience.For my body taking it as soon as i woke up worked.

TIPS FROM FRIEND

Hello Ladies.....I wanted to share with you some of my tips for great eating and snacking.

I for one know how difficult it is to eat right while transforming yourself to be a better you. This is one of the hardest tasks you will perform during your lifetime. As always you ask yourself what do I eat and where do I start. I am going to share with you all some of the things that has made my life a lot easier, along with the great TIPS that Nina gives to us as well. Because we all know that is a starter but we need to grow and maintain our own eating habits. This is why TIPS are so important, while they may or may not work for you long term, they will encourage and give you a head start. So ladies here are mine, I hope these will help someone like Nina’s has helped me.

GRAPES are GREAT one of the health benefits are that they contain Flavonoids which helps greatly with water retention especially around that time of the month, also a great source in protection against heart disease. These are also a great finger food snack when you are on the go. I like Globes (Sweet and Red but larger) or Sweet Red Seedless Grapes.

Pineapples are also very good there health benefits are anti-inflammatory and great digestive benefits, the pineapple is very high in Vitamin C and Vitamin B1 (Thiamin).

Pears I really love Pears. They protect against free radicals and promote cardiovascular and colon health. The fiber in pears does a lot more than help prevent constipation it also ensure regularity. Also fruits and cereal fiber protect against premenopausal Breast Cancer. It is also a Hypo-Allergenic.

I found that these fruits are very good, and when chosen correctly are very very sweet and they have helped me a great deal within my journey.

Some dishes that I make for myself for dinner sometimes is Cabbage and Spicy Beef Sausages. Cabbage is a great cleansing agent and the sausage give you your fatty food and mixed together it is delicious. Also BBQ Chicken don’t feel like you can’t eat. BBQ Chicken with vegetables or salad is great.

Now lets talk about Salad, be creative. I myself can’t stand Iceberg Lettuce. I prefer Arugula or Spring Mix, but jazz the salad up and be creative with your salad dressings. You will be surprised what you will come up with. EVOO with Lemon Juice and a dash of Sea Salt and Fresh Ground Pepper is Fabulous as a dressing, also EVOO mixed with some Parmesan Cheese is a favorite of mine. Also you don’t have to stick to the normal boring toppings. Turkey Taco Meet, Gourmet Chicken Sausage (Aidells are my favorite), Avocado, Fried Catfish Nuggets or whatever your hearts desire just be creative.

One thing that I have discovered throughout this process as well as other diets, we loose sight of what we like. We are stuck on the DIET FACTOR I can’t have this, I have to eat that. And I truly feel that it is very important to eat foods that are healthy yet feeling and by this I mean feeling that void of the Fatty Dishes we all once loved very much but feel we can no longer eat. WE can just in moderation. Don’t cheat yourself, CHEAT YOUR MIND. It is very powerful and most importantly it will do what YOU tell it to. Don’t ever forget that.

Well Ladies….I could go on and on, but then I would have to change my name to DIVA DELUXE and start my own cooking show on Food Network. This is still a process and a very long journey and everyday is a learning lesson. I still have miles to go, but I delighted to do so. Please feel free to add comments, I have lots of great recipes. SOME REAL EDUCATION ABOUT YOUR STOMACH

- Those fancy looking ab machines you see advertised on TV all the time (for example, the Ab Lounge) are pretty much useless. Read more here: ab workouts

- What works for one person might not work for you. In general terms, people will all lose weight, gain weight, burn fat and increase muscle the same way. That's just how the human body works. However, the specifics may be different. For example, your friend may lose weight eating 2,500 calories a day, but you might gain weight eating 2,500 calories a day. One person might do 12 sets for biceps and get results, and another may do just 5 and get the same results. One person might work each muscle three times a week and see results, another may work each muscle once a week and see results. The best advice I can give you is this... try something, give it some time, and closely monitor what happens. If it did what you wanted it to do, keep it. If it didn't, adjust it until it does.

- As long as your workout program is built around proven principles, it will work if it's done consistently and for a significant period of time. And, no matter how great the workout is, NOTHING will work if you don't give it time to work. (Here's a list of my favorite proven workout plans and weight training splits.)

- Be careful who you take workout and diet advice from. Very few people actually know what they're talking about (even certified personal trainers), and a large number of the ones that sound like they do are just trying to sell you something that you probably don't need.

- Warm up, stretch and ALWAYS use proper form. Doing so will help prevent injury. Hey, I told you these were the "slightly more obvious" facts.

How much fat?

 

ITS OKAY TO EAT FAT!

For fat, I can't give you an exact number of grams. Instead I can give you a percent. Approximately 25% of you daily calorie intake should come from fat. It doesn't have to be EXACTLY 25%, but something in that range seems to be the ideal amount. And by fat of course, I mean GOOD fat.

Some foods containing "good" fat include:

Fish
Fish oil supplements
Nuts and seeds
Olive oil
Flax seed oil

 

 

I  NO LONGER EAT BREAD not EVEN WHOLEGRAIN!

How many carbs?

And that leaves carbs. You factored in that you need to eat 1 gram of protein per pound. So now do the math. Sticking with the 180lbs example, that means you are eating 180 grams of protein a day. 180x4 = 720 calories. So in this example, 720 calories of the daily calorie intake is accounted for from protein alone. You can now also factor in the 25% of your daily calorie total coming from fat. Once you factored in both the protein and fat, whatever number of calories you are left with... those will come from carbs. Got that? 1 gram per pound for protein, 25% of the total calorie intake is fat, and everything else should come from GOOD carbs.

Some foods containing "good" carbs include:

Oatmeal
100% whole wheat bread
Whole wheat pasta
Brown rice
Yams
Sweet potatoes
Beans
Green leafy vegetables

 

 GO TO THE GROCERY STORE STOP EATING OUT "FAST FOODS"!


Organize It And Do It

Now that you have all of the diet information figured out, try to spread the calories out evenly over 4-6 smaller meals rather than 3 really big meals. Then, spread the 4-6 smaller meals out by eating once every 3 hours or so. That pretty much sums it all up. Be sure to drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, and of course... workout correctly. Oh, and one final math equation for you:

  • Fish Oil
    Fish oil is honestly the only supplement that I recommend to EVERYONE no matter
    what your specific goal is. Seriously. It really is that important and beneficial. I explain

  • Protein Powder
    Protein powder is a key ingredient of the perfect Post Workout Meal, and it also
    provides us with a super quick and convenient way of ensuring we eat enough protein
    each day (which of course is the second most important part of every single diet). I

  • Creatine
    While there may be a ton of "muscle building" supplements on the market, creatine is
    literally the only one that is scientifically proven to be both safe AND effective. I cover all

    still a supplement most people should be taking no matter how good (or bad) their diet

Vegetables and fruits provide all the natural sugar intake you could want – the brighter, the more abundant, the better. Fruits and vegetables are high in fibre, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients
that help prevent and treat diseases.

Fruits and vegetables are low in glycemic index, so those with diabetes or other sugar-restricted diets should still be able to eat as much as they desire.

TIP 3 >> Drink 8 glasses of water a day.

This is one of the most important aspects of detoxing your body. Water flushes yoru system of unwanted waste; helps boost your metabolism; and gives you a feeling of fullness longer. Water also helps
keep your energy up.

2. Fatty Food: In the morning try to eat something with fat maybe an hour after taking the pills because the pill is activated with fatty foods the most! Something like bacon good or a small milkshake(this will help you go go go)

3. Go Buy Fiber Bars by fiber one- and fiber yogurt.Veggie Chilli (Beans) 2 max a day this can become very gassy!

4. Take your Multi Vitamins and Supplements!Make sure u take ur vitamins and fat oils--- flakes seed --psyllium husks; psyllium husk is the key!! fiber
fiber more fiber .............thats all u see when u look up a detox. Protein is
important as well.

5. Good Fatty food- i tried to make sure the fatty food was good fatty food like monosaturated foods just google good fats print it out! =D I also enjoyed eating pizza , jamaican patty....okay yes ice cream works but i am not aproving that nope lol:)

6. Your Meal Plan resarch research research i was glued to the computer trying to findthe right foods to go along with this pill and i came up with the list below because its what i liked! JUST FIND WHAT U LIKE...:)BUT STICK TO
IT!! I EAT THE SAME THING EVERYDAY, ITS IMPORTANT THAT I AM FULL AND GOOD HEALTHY FOOD CAN MAKE YOU FULL. YOU GET MORE IN VOLUME TOO.

7. WATER- Benefiber (kiwi strawberry) thats what i drank you can find it at walgreens!  HOW MUCH TO DRINK ALOT ALOT ALOT! IF YOU WEIGHT 200PDS take half and that gets you too 100
ounces! divide that by 8 that gives you around 12 8oz glasses have fun!

8. GET YOUR CELL PHONE AND REMIND YOUR SELF to take ur pills, vitmains, fiber , fatty and water :)
 
9. Pictures,

Measure, Scale,  Jeans that Dont Fit!
Take Pictures as soon as you receive your bottle, Measure your body
with a measuring tape, Weight yourself the same way all the time and
timeframe, I did naked so theres no doubt! Jeans- Put on a set of Jeans
that are way too tight every 3 weeks or once a week try them on. Listen
to what people are saying if they see your are smaller then you are
lol:)


10. COFFEE-You can use the Forum to Blog/Journal your meals, beverages, NO CAFFEINE OR COFFEE! . If you still end up drinking de-caf I guess thats fine but dont be suprised if your not losing as much (the more coffee you drink the 10 times of water you need to drink)

9pm -Dinner Protein fish or chicken or seafood, brown rice with veggies


11pm i ate a piece of candy or something small DRINK TONS OF WATER IF

8)SWEATING /ENERGY Also if you feel hot and have alot of energy take advantage of it and start dancing around or
walking out side use the enrgy you feel.

9)MOODY  DUE TO ALCOHOL!  also if u want to drink alcohol comsume at night and dont take pill next morning. NO alcohol if you can but i know this is tough only because i know you will get moody and not sure what ingredients will in the drink will do with
the ingredients of the pills so if u want to have a good time stop
taking the pills and go back on.

10) MISSING PERIOD "aunt flo" may come a different time withthis pill. Trust you are not pregnant or maybe you are lol?

I read this website called "intense-workout.com it talks about what to
eat to get a slim stomach. I researched detox until my hands fell off!!
there is alot of helpful information online.the pills work so if you are
not seeing results its something you are doing , not doing or need to
start doing....
